RAMEN RAIJIN Is Coming to ACF Expo 2026 in San Mateo — August 15 & 16
RAMEN RAIJIN is joining ACF Expo 2026 in San Mateo — and yes, we’re bringing a food booth.
On Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16, 2026, the 2026 USA Asian Culture & Food Expo takes over the San Mateo County Event Center. We’ll be there both days, serving bowls at our booth.
Here’s exactly what we’re serving: our frozen ramen, prepared on site into a hot, ready-to-eat bowl. It’s the very same product we sell online. We simply heat and finish it for you at the booth so you can eat it right there, with nothing left to prepare.
So what you taste at the expo is exactly what arrives at your door. If you’ve been curious about RAMEN RAIJIN, this is the easiest way to find out whether it’s for you.

What is ACF Expo?
The USA Asian Culture & Food Expo is one of the largest Asian food events in the Bay Area, and it runs alongside the West Coast Asian Foodie Festival at the same venue.
It works on two levels at once. On the business side, it’s a market-entry platform where Asian brands meet U.S. buyers, distributors and retailers. On the public side, it’s simply a very large, very fun food festival that anyone can walk into.
For visitors, that means a weekend of:
- 100+ Asian foods to taste and explore in one place
- Non-stop cultural performances across both days
- Traditional dragon and lion dance performances
- A Kid Zone, so it genuinely works as a family day out
- A curated showcase of Asian brands — food and beverage, snacks, ready-to-eat products, lifestyle and cultural goods — many of which you can’t find in stores yet
It’s the kind of event where you go for lunch and end up staying all afternoon. If you’re anywhere in the Bay Area that weekend, it’s an easy yes.
Why we’re there
RAMEN RAIJIN has been running a ramen shop in Toronto for 14 years. Over the past year we’ve been bringing that same bowl to the United States, starting in the San Francisco Bay Area.
So the Bay Area is where this started for us — and ACF Expo is our chance to finally meet the people who’ve been ordering, messaging and waiting. Instead of a photo on a screen, you get the actual bowl, cooked in front of you.
We’re bringing our two signature bowls: Tonkotsu, a rich, slow-simmered pork bone broth, and Shoyu, a clean, savory soy sauce broth.
A bowl worth lining up for — this time, you don’t have to fly to Toronto for it.
Come say hello. We like talking about ramen far too much, and we want to hear what you think of it.
What we’re serving at the booth
Two things are happening at our booth:
Try it before you commit
We’ll be handing out tasting portions so you can find out for yourself what our broth actually tastes like. No pressure, no obligation — just taste it.
Our frozen ramen, prepared and served hot
We start from our frozen ramen — the same product we ship to customers — and prepare it at the booth into a hot, ready-to-eat bowl. Broth heated, noodles cooked, toppings on top, handed straight to you. Nothing for you to prepare, and the flavor is exactly what you’d get at home.
Price: $10 per bowl — the same for both Tonkotsu and Shoyu. Please note that the price may change slightly on the day of the event, and we appreciate your understanding.
Come say hi to Hiroshi and Masa
If you follow RAMEN RAIJIN on social media, you already know their faces. Hiroshi and Masa — the two you see in our videos and posts — will be standing at the booth in person, preparing and serving your ramen on both days.
Please come and say hello. Hearing that you found us through our videos genuinely makes their day, and there is no better fuel for running a booth from 10 to 5. We’re looking forward to meeting you in person. 😄
Like it? Take it home
If you enjoy your bowl at the booth, you can order the exact same ramen from our online store and make it at home in minutes. That’s really the whole idea behind the expo for us: taste it first, then keep it in your freezer.
See it before you come
We’ve posted a short video on Instagram showing what we’re bringing and how the bowl comes together. It’s the quickest way to see what’s waiting for you at the booth — and it’s a good one to send to whoever you’re dragging along on the weekend.
Follow us there for booth updates during the weekend — including when we’re running low.
How to find us
- Get your ticket in advance through the official ACF Expo listing on Eventbrite. Buying ahead is cheaper and faster than at the gate.

- Doors open at 10:00 AM and the expo runs until 5:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.
- Head to the food vendor area. The event is spread across Fiesta Hall, the Central Mall and the Plaza Stage, and the food vendors are gathered in the Central Mall area — that’s where our booth will be. When and where is ACF Expo 2026?
The 2026 USA Asian Culture & Food Expo runs Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the San Mateo County Event Center, 1346 Saratoga Drive, San Mateo, CA 94403.
Is RAMEN RAIJIN there on both days?
Yes. Our food booth is open both Saturday and Sunday during expo hours, subject to available stock.
Is the ramen at the booth freshly made or frozen?
We start from our frozen ramen — the same product we sell online — and prepare it at the booth into a hot, ready-to-eat bowl. It isn’t made from scratch on site; it’s our frozen ramen, finished and served so you can eat it immediately.
How much is a bowl?
$10 per bowl, the same price for both Tonkotsu and Shoyu. The price may change slightly on the day of the event, so thank you in advance for your understanding.
Can I buy the frozen packs after trying it?
Yes. The same ramen is available from our online store, delivered to your door and ready in minutes at home.
What if the flavor I want is sold out online?
Production isn’t fully caught up with demand yet, so flavors sell out from time to time. Press the “Notify me” button on the product page and you’ll receive an email as soon as it’s restocked.
Who will be at the RAMEN RAIJIN booth?
Hiroshi and Masa, familiar from RAMEN RAIJIN’s social media content, will be at the booth serving ramen on both days. Please stop by and say hello.
Are there free samples?
We’ll be offering tasting portions at the booth while supplies last. Quantities are limited, so we can’t guarantee one for every visitor.
Could you sell out?
It’s possible. We’re cooking on site with limited equipment and limited stock, so we recommend visiting our booth early in the day. We’ll post updates on Instagram if we start running low.
Do I need a ticket for ACF Expo?
Yes, ACF Expo is a ticketed event. Tickets are sold in advance through the official Eventbrite listing, and parking at the venue is paid.
Is it family friendly?
Yes. The expo includes a Kid Zone and cultural performances throughout the weekend, alongside more than 100 Asian foods to explore.
