RAMEN RAIJIN Online Store Relaunches as the Official Frozen Ramen Hub for North America

RAMEN RAIJIN online store relaunch image

We’re excited to announce the relaunch of the RAMEN RAIJIN online store: shop.ramenraijin.com

What started as a small online shop delivering frozen ramen to customers in Ontario, Canada has grown into something much bigger — the official hub for everything RAIJIN across North America.

Whether you’re a longtime fan in Toronto or just discovering us in California, our renewed online store is the best place to start. It’s now the central home for everything RAIJIN frozen ramen — by region, by flavor, and by what’s coming next.

From a Toronto Ramen Restaurant to Frozen Ramen Across North America

RAMEN RAIJIN began as a Japanese ramen restaurant in downtown Toronto, located at 24 Wellesley St. West Rear, just steps from the heart of the city. For over 11 years, we’ve been known for our warm atmosphere, an open interior inspired by thunderclouds and lightning, and a wide variety of bowls that keep guests coming back to discover new favorites.

From day one, our Toronto kitchen has focused on ramen with depth, balance, and true Japanese technique. Every soup is built with care — including a rich tonkotsu broth cooked at high temperature in a pressure pot, and a clear chicken-based soup slowly simmered under strict temperature control. Our signature broths are simmered for up to 10 hours to extract the deep umami, richness, and body that define a true ramen-shop experience. That same dedication to flavor and quality became the foundation for what we now bring to your freezer.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when welcoming guests into the restaurant became difficult, we began developing frozen ramen so people could enjoy RAIJIN at home. After more than 100 tasting tests and countless refinements, each bowl became a way to bring the experience of our Toronto ramen shop directly into customers’ kitchens.

Since then, RAIJIN frozen ramen has grown from a local Ontario project into a beloved product across Canada — with over 300,000 bowls delivered across Ontario and British Columbia, and a community of more than 540,000 fans following us on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. And now, our journey is officially expanding into the United States.

A New Online Store Built Around Frozen Ramen

Previously, our online store mainly served customers in Ontario who wanted to order RAIJIN frozen ramen online. With this relaunch, shop.ramenraijin.com has become much more than a place to shop. It’s now the official information hub for our ramen, with availability and updates organized by region.

On the new site, visitors can easily find what’s available in Ontario, California, British Columbia, and across the USA, along with regional sales partners, product details and cooking instructions, new area launch updates, and limited releases or local announcements.

At this time, direct online purchases through shop.ramenraijin.com are focused on Ontario. However, the renewed site also provides detailed information about our U.S. launch in California — now available via Weee! — as well as availability through our partner Azuma-tei in British Columbia.

Ontario: Order Direct, Delivered to Your Door

Ontario remains one of the most important regions for RAIJIN. Customers here can continue to use shop.ramenraijin.com to browse available products, check delivery information, view limited-time offers, and read the latest local news and product updates.

If you live in Ontario, our online store is the easiest way to bring the taste of our Toronto ramen shop home. Browse the full lineup, check delivery availability in your area, and stay up to date on limited releases — all in one place.

California: Now Live in the Bay Area via Weee!

We’re also excited to share that RAIJIN has officially started its U.S. journey in California, beginning with the San Francisco Bay Area — and it’s available now through our U.S. sales partner, Weee! (sayweee.com).

For our U.S. launch, production takes place locally in California under RAMEN RAIJIN’s direct supervision, in partnership with a manufacturer in San Francisco. This allows customers in the United States to experience the quality and flavor we’ve developed in Canada, while avoiding the challenges of shipping across the border.

The first U.S. rollout features two of our most popular flavors: Rich Tonkotsu Ramen — creamy, deeply savory pork bone broth, and Authentic Shoyu Ramen — bold, balanced, and full of umami. We’ve also begun prototyping additional products for future U.S. release based on customer feedback.

For ramen lovers in California, RAIJIN is now within reach. The San Francisco Bay Area is just the start — visit our online store for the latest on where to buy, which flavors are available, and where we’re heading next across the U.S.

British Columbia: Find Us Through Azuma-tei

RAIJIN is also available in British Columbia through our trusted partner, Azuma-tei (Azuma Foods) — a longstanding name in the Japanese food industry, known for delivering authentic Japanese ingredients and products across Canada. Our products in B.C. are produced under the supervision of our owner-chef, in collaboration with Azuma-tei.

The B.C. lineup currently includes Tonkotsu Frozen Ramen, Shoyu Frozen Ramen, and Vegetable Tonkotsu-style Frozen Ramen, available through Azuma-tei’s network and select retailers.

Across British Columbia — from Vancouver to Richmond — RAIJIN is available through Azuma-tei. Our online store helps you find the nearest place to buy and see which flavors are in stock.

Authentic Japanese Ramen, Ready at Home

RAMEN RAIJIN frozen ramen is not instant ramen.

Each bowl is created to deliver the comfort, richness, and satisfaction of a real ramen shop experience — at home. Our broth is made from real ingredients simmered for over 10 hours, our noodles are fresh-quality (not dried or fried), and every bowl is finished with carefully selected toppings such as chashu pork and traditional garnishes. Advanced freezing technology locks in flavor and texture while minimizing the need for preservatives — the same approach used by top Japanese restaurants.

Depending on the product, you can enjoy each bowl in about 5 to 10 minutes by heating it in a pot or microwave — no need to add water, and no need to thaw. It’s a convenient choice for busy families, ramen lovers, students, professionals, and anyone who wants a premium ramen experience without leaving home.

Why the Renewed Online Store Matters

As RAIJIN frozen ramen continues to grow, we wanted one central place where customers could easily find the latest information. The renewed shop.ramenraijin.com is built to answer questions like where to buy our ramen, which flavors are available in each region, how to cook it at home, and when we’ll launch in your city.

Our goal is to make the online store the fastest and most reliable source for RAIJIN updates across Canada and the United States.

Bringing RAIJIN to More Cities

RAIJIN’s frozen ramen started in Toronto, grew across Ontario, expanded with Azuma-tei in British Columbia, and has now begun its next chapter in the United States with Weee! in California — but this is only the beginning.

We’re working step by step to bring our ramen to more cities and more communities across North America. As new sales areas, partners, pickup points, delivery zones, and product launches become available, we’ll continue to update our online store first. If you’d like to stay informed, we encourage you to visit shop.ramenraijin.com regularly and sign up for New Location Alerts to be the first to know when we launch in your city.

Q: Is RAIJIN available across all of Canada?

Q: Can I order RAIJIN online in the United States?

Yes. Our U.S. rollout has launched in California, beginning with the San Francisco Bay Area, with orders available online through Weee!. Our bowls can be stored for approximately 10 months from the manufacturing date when kept at −18°C (0°F) or below. Always check the package for the exact expiration date.
